Friends and family gather at "the beach" to visit and enjoy the sunshine and camaraderie.  This is what makes Lloyd's Cottages so wonderful.  Sometimes we only see many of these people only once a year but that makes each week seem like "old home week."  We just love to see everyone visiting and enjoying themselves.
And then there is eating and gathering around that big, green picnic table.  One cannot possibly count the number of people, the amount of food and drink, and the number of games that have been played at this table.  Definitely, the gathering spot of the property.
Fish fries, grilling out, and campfires!  Who could ask for anything more?
Alaina, holding Tanner, Brian, Greg, Terri, Mata and Al enjoy the beach after a swim.
Apparently, Bruce is entertaining Cyndi, Karen, and Chris with a good story.
Tammy, Chris, and Jenni have a good visit.
Terri joins Jenni, Tammy and Chris at our annual fish fry.
Ed always looks forward to Will's visit to catch up.  Will and Pauline have been coming to the lake for over 40 years.
Melissa, Will's granddaughter, has been coming to Lloyd's Cottages since she was a baby.
Bill and his son, Tyler, always have a great two weeks with us and the rest of their family.
Ed, with long time friends, John and Barbara enjoy a drink and a visit with Greg.
Father, son and granddaughter enjoy a break.
Same group plus Michael enjoying whatever is in those special glasses, a Lloyd's specialty!
Steven and Chris greeting Bill, Tammy, and Rebecca.  Looks like Elgin just got out of the lake--what else would be new?
Jenni and Mike were lucky enough to spend almost the whole summer here this year.  They loved visiting at the beach.
Jenni, Cyndi, Karen, and Kim obviously were watching someone in the lake.  Probably a tuber.
The Smith family--Ken, Myra, Lee and Bob--took advantage of an opening and traveled from Florida and Texas to spend a great week with us.  Good to have them back!
Liz, Laurie, Scottie, and Becky spend a really fun week with us in June.
Lori came to Lloyd's Cottages as a child more than 50 years ago with her parents and brother.  Now her niece, Trish, and sister-in-law, Beth still come every year.  We love to brag about the longevity of this family.
Troy, Kim, Jenni, Greg, Terri and Mike enjoy a beer and some good conversation at "the old green table."
Mike, Cyndi, Greg and Terri visit at the table while kids in the background play on the swing set and play tether ball.
Al, Loni, Lyndsay, Dennis, Brian, and Gloria grab a snack.
A crowd gathers for a weigh in.  Always anticipation.
Here we are again!  Greg, Terri, Mike, Cyndi, Bruce, and Lyndsay just enjoying the day.
Another annual event is Jack's fish fry at The Cedars with Dave and family.
Trisha, Beth, Lori, and Guy are regulars at this fish fry.
Our annual fish fry is held on Opening Day of Bass season.  Ed is the  chef and David is the fireman and Greg is second in command.  John stands back and waits to grab a filet as soon as it is ready.
Bruce grilling a huge platter of steaks while Brett must be checking on work??!!??  Not!
We could not manage without the help of family and friends.  Here our four grandkids are prepared to to into the lake on Memorial Day weekend (Brr!) in order to put the docks in the lake.
Then, in September, our son and son-in-law along with nephew Mike and friends Bill and Bruce (not in the picture) come up to help take the docks out of the water.  I bet most of you thought they just magically appeared for your convenience!
Other work happens!  The house gets a good cleaning.  Glad OSHA is not around to see how David and Ed figure out the best method to do this.
No one like brush clearing so a bit of a rest in order to "imbibe" the drink of the day seems appropriate.  Michael, Ed, Bill, and Brett are really good workers.
Now, lets jump in the lake!
Alaina helps some little kids get ready to go tubing.
Lindsay and Loni are ready for some fun.
And here we go!  Hang on for a wild ride!
Terri and Pauline cool off on a hot day.  Floating around is a great way to have a visit with friends.
